Homeschool Latin Help May Use Affiliate Links

Homeschool Latin Help has an affiliate relationship with some curriculum companies and websites. This means that when you click through a link on our site and then make a purchase, we may get a small commission for your purchases at no extra cost to you.

Homeschool Latin Help is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

However, there are many curriculum companies and resources represented on this site that do not have affiliate programs and by whom we are not compensated in any way for sharing about or linking to their products. Our goal is to provide a broad and accurate representation of available material, not to favor those for whom we are able to earn affiliate commissions.

Spotlights, Summaries, and Reviews

Homeschool Latin Help writes about Latin curriculum and resources in three different formats:

  • Spotlights. The content in these articles is primarily written by the author/publisher of the curriculum in an interview-style format. This is a fabulous way to hear first-hand the details about how a curriculum was developed and the author's perspective on his or her approach to Latin language instruction.
  • Reviews. Curriculum companies may choose to provide copies of resources or access to online programs for us to independently review. In these articles, we share our own personal opinion of each resource, pros, cons, and who the material might best fit. Reviews may or may not include compensation or free curriculum. It is my sincere intention to not allow either of these factors to affect what I share about the material.
  • Summaries. If we haven't been able to establish contact with a publisher or curriculum author, we may create a summary page with the basic information we are able to glean online. These summaries may not contain much more information than you could find on the company website or through a Google search, but the purpose is A) to format the information in a way similar to the curriculum spotlights so that you can easily compare resources and B) to allow a place for families to share their experience with the resources. If a curriculum company reaches out to Homeschool Latin Help to contribute more information about their curriculum, we may update a Summary to a Spotlight.

Customer Testimonies

At the bottom of each Spotlight, Summary, or Review, families who have used any particular curriculum or resource have an opportunity to share their experience. Homeschool Latin Help does not have any way to verify if a person leaving a comment has actually purchased or used the material.

Honest feedback - whether positive or negative - is important to help other families choose a curriculum that would be a good fit for them. However, we will delete or edit any comments that, at our discretion, are crude or constitute a personal attack on an author or publisher employee.
